“Chislennichek” — 2022 is the 4th edition of the project. The theme of the year was the phrase “Here not here”, which in the eyes and hands of the authors received many interpretations, expressed through such mediums as drawing, photography, collage and text. In 2022, the calendar was published with the support of the GES-2 House of Culture and the V-A-C Foundation.
“Chislennichek” is a tear-off calendar project, in the creation of which 365 people take part and that is equal to the number of days in one year. The participant is given one calendar sheet to implement his own idea, which then becomes part of the collective statement. Curators of the project defines the general concept offered for individual reflection by each participant. The result is a material object — a tear-off calendar for the next year, which at the same time is a collective exhibition. The project has been issued since 2019.
Her work, that was selected for participation in the 2022 ed., Olga Mikhalchuk has created during the first long-time walk after suffering hard pneumonia due to coronavirus for a month in May 2021. She used her father’s Practica LTL camera and Ilford 100 b& w film. Later this picture became one of the most significant in “The Hard” photobook about the period of growing up and the loneliness of a person.
